Our Work

Kenya

Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) continues to endanger girls, robbing them of their rights, education, and future.

In response, we educate girls and families on the legal and health risks of FGM through our Legal Letter Initiative, offer mentorship and empowerment through holiday programs, sponsor girls to stay in school through educational funding, and provide safehousing for those escaping forced FGM or early marriage.

Afghanistan

The Taliban’s ban on girls’ education has left thousands without learning opportunities, while food insecurity threatens entire communities.

In response, we provide food and education in safe learning spaces through children’s gardens, and we ensure girls continue learning despite restrictions by supporting classrooms.
