The Vocational School Project, also known as the “Tailoring Skills Training for Women and Young Girls,” was a social, educational, and professional initiative financially supported by Global Roots. Implemented in the Baharak district of Badakhshan province, Afghanistan, the project provided tailoring skills training over six months to vulnerable women and girls facing socio-economic challenges due to conflict and restrictive policies.
The goal of the projects was to empower women and young girls by providing tailoring skills for sustainable income and self-sufficiency.
